And...Just had my 'deathiversary' yesterday. And yes the days leading up to it was quite hard. Remembering a year ago what was our last meal together, the last place we went (a foot ball game, which I still can't go to), my last embrace, last kiss, my last I love you. Sometimes I don't think I can go on. But that would leave our kids orphans. There's been more than once that I've crashed and realised afterwards that the date was a kind of 'deathiversary' (usually a monthly one). So bizarre. The 18 month marker has been doing that to me lately...at least, I finally concluded that's what it was. And so true that the death march is worth than the deathiversary...
