I didn't expect it to be so emotional, but it was.

My husband had really fabulous ties and I decided to give one to each of his frieds and family that I knew would remember him everytime they wore one. I think each of these men were truly touched to receive them.

I still have one of Allans shirts hanging in my closet, it was his favorite fun shirt and I touch it frequently, now with a smile and less tears.JoAnne Funchhttp://www.heartachetohealing.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268746983441346507.post-72785417660607890122009-05-18T07:45:00.000-07:002009-05-18T07:45:00.000-07:00I had quilts made for each of our boys with my hus...I had quilts made for each of our boys with my husband's T-shirts and special clothes. i.e. shirt I was wearing on our first date. This way the boys can go to sleep wrapped in their dad's love every night.

IreneIrene McGoldrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17788960402697541910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1268746983441346507.post-57159528592294524302009-05-17T20:28:00.000-07:002009-05-17T20:28:00.000-07:00good post, thanks. i need that atm. i'm down to fi...good post, thanks. i need that atm. i'm down to final sorting after having my entire household goods in storage for months, etc. i'm finding it hard to deal with the holds-the-most-memories items of his clothes. while he'll never use them again, it sure does seem like dishonouring a life to "get rid of" what is left here of it. just part of the process, i know. :Psoutheastcountrywifehttp://www.southeastcountrywife.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.com
