Good job! I too am making a treck with my daughters over Easter. My husband died on 4/29/09. One of my daughters turns 10 on 4/25 and wants to see the Hollywood sign for her double digit Birthday - I said what the heck!
Beautiful - to bring joy into her life and to show her that both things can live together in one heart. We can live with sadness at our loss and still be happy, still smile, still play. You are one great Dad. But looking at her eyes through your camera - you probably already knew that.
