get away.
just the three of us.
so we did.
off to honolulu.
with no plans
other than to
ensure that
madeline had the time
of her life.
(that's my only real goal in life).
she did.
she played on the beach

and in the ocean

and at the zoo

and even took
in a couple of sunsets.

none of this is
easy, but a few
moments alone together
go a long
way in helping all of us
get to where we
need to be.
and as long as
i get to see her
doing this everyday,

i am pretty sure
we'll be okay.
